Honors:  Print list of Holocaust Vocabulary and defintions from class web page.  Click on Honors English 11 link on the right side of this page.  Print it out and bring it to class by Wednesday so I can give you a daily grade.

Honors:  Pretend you received the “note” written by William Carlos Williams in “This Is Just To Say.”  Write a response in your own words, but using the same modernist form as Williams.  Be sure to give your poem a title and a drawing to go along with your response.  Due Thursday.

Honors:  For those of you on the Troy Field Trip, here is a list of vocabulary for this unit.  You need to define these words using the glossary in your literature book.  The test on these words will be in crossword puzzle format…no word bank. 

stanza, rhyme scheme, couplet, mood, refrain/chorus, metaphor, repetition, theme, personification, foreshadowing, symbolism, enjambment, blank verse, allusion, simile, quatrain.

Honors:  Finish reading the novel and complete Chs. 19-20 study guide if not done so in class.  We will be working on computers Monday, so bring flash drives and such to save work.
